What can you keep track of?

Coins and rounds
Bullion and collector coins in gold, silver, platinum, copper and other metals, with weight, fineness, year and mintage. For gold, silver, platinum and palladium the value follows the current price.

Bars
Minted bars, cast bars and CombiBars in gold, silver, platinum, palladium or copper, with manufacturer, serial number and packaging. For each bar you see the purchase price, the current value and your profit or loss.

Banknotes
From old banknotes to 0 euro souvenir notes. Dimensions and face value are filled in automatically where possible, and text in the photo can be recognised.

Stamps
Stamps with country, year, face value and condition, such as mint or used, with a photo of the front and back.

Jewellery
Rings, necklaces, bracelets and other jewellery, with material, weight and carat. For each piece you record the gemstones and pearls set in it.

Gemstones and pearls
Loose gemstones and pearls, or the stones in a piece of jewellery: kind, number, weight in carats, cut, colour and clarity.
From gold and silver to copper and titanium
Besides gold and silver you can also record platinum, palladium, rhodium, copper, bronze, brass, nickel, aluminium, titanium and other metals. For gold, silver, platinum and palladium the value follows the current price; for the other metals you enter a value yourself.
You can also record jewellery, loose gemstones and pearls, and collectible objects such as statues. For gold you enter the fineness or the carat; AgAurium converts it for you.

About AgAurium
The name AgAurium combines Ag and Au, the chemical symbols for silver and gold.
AgAurium grew out of a personal hobby. A search for an app or website to keep track of a collection easily, without having to pay for it, came up empty. That is why AgAurium was built: by a collector, for collectors.

Frequently asked questions
What is AgAurium?
AgAurium is a free online organiser for recording your collection of coins, bars, banknotes and stamps. You store details and photos per item and see in one overview what you have and what it is worth.
Is AgAurium really free?
Yes. There is no subscription, no paid version and there are no ads. AgAurium runs on voluntary donations.
How is the value of my precious metal calculated?
For gold, silver, platinum and palladium, AgAurium uses the fine weight (weight times fineness) and the current price, which is refreshed regularly. For other metals, banknotes, stamps and special pieces you enter a value yourself.
Who can see my collection?
Only you. Your items, purchase prices, serial numbers and notes are shielded per account. To prevent abuse, the administrator can review uploaded photos, without seeing whose they are.
Can I also keep track of jewellery, gemstones, cast bars or collectible objects?
Yes. Besides coins, rounds, bars, banknotes and stamps there are the types cast bar, CombiBar, jewellery and collectible object. For jewellery you record the kind, number, carat weight, cut, colour and clarity of each stone or pearl. For gold you can enter the carat; the fineness is then calculated.
